2 1/2 cups flour (290g) 1/4 cup brown sugar (45g) 1 tablespoon baking powder (1 sachet de levure chimique) 1 tablespoon cinnamon (+/-) pinch of salt 1/2 cup butter or margarine (90-100g) 3/4 cup canned pumpkin (150g) 1/2 cup milk (125ml) 1 egg

Mix dry ingredients (flour, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt). Make a well and add the pumpkin, milk and egg to the well. Mix well. Roll out on floured surface. Knead a little adding flour as necessary. Just a little kneading to have the right consistency (soft, not sticky). Cut in triangles and place on baking sheet. Optional: Add a little liquid to surface (milk or water or egg) for a nice golden effect. Check after 15 minutes in oven. Serve hot with butter.
