Ingrédients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup wholewheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder (= 1 packet)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine (or oil)
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • pinch of salt

Étapes

  1. Stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and brown sugar.
  2. Add butter or margarine. Mix until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. (If using oil, skip this line.)
  3. Make a well, mix eggs and milk in well (and oil if using). Mix with flour mixture.
  4. Knead lightly just until mixture is smooth.
  5. Pat into circle about 2 cm thick.
  6. Cut into 8 equal wedges.
  7. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve warm.
