
Granola
A granny's grand granola...

Ingrédients
- 4 cups oats
- 1 cup wheat germ
- 3/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1 cup coconut
- 2 cups mixed nuts (sunflower seeds, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, almonds,...)
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon (more or less as desired)
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup liquid honey
- 1/2 cup oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla (or 1 or 2 packets)
Étapes
- To measure, choose a cup or a glass or other recipient and respect the proportions. One cup is the equivalent of 250 ml.
- Combine oats, wheat germ, sesame seeds, coconut, mixed nuts, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
- Make a well and add honey, oil and vanilla.
- Mix well.
- Spread evenly on 2 baking sheets.
- Bake for 15 minutes tossing every 5 minutes.
- Do NOT cook! Remove from oven and add dried fruit.
- Let cool and store in refrigerator. The granola keeps for a long time if refrigerated.
