
Pumpkin scones
Oh my gourd, they're delicious!

Ingrédients
- 2 1/2 cups flour (290g)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (45g)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder (1 sachet de levure chimique)
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon (+/-)
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine (90-100g)
- 3/4 cup canned pumpkin (150g)
- 1/2 cup milk (125ml)
- 1 egg
Étapes
- Mix dry ingredients (flour, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt).
- Make a well and add the pumpkin, milk and egg to the well.
- Mix well.
- Roll out on floured surface. Knead a little adding flour as necessary. Just a little kneading to have the right consistency (soft, not sticky).
- Cut in triangles and place on baking sheet.
- Optional: Add a little liquid to surface (milk or water or egg) for a nice golden effect.
- Check after 15 minutes in oven. Serve hot with butter.
